Found scribbled on the back of a page of notes about binary tree rotations from CISC 220 Data Structures. Incidentally, the opposite edge of the page had a punctuation poem on it.

Libraries are oh so nice when they have interesting books. I checked out a fifteen-inch stack (last) Monday, and they’re not due till the end of the month! Happy joy.

I read The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde on Tuesday night. It’s quite a fun book; a relatively light ~200 pages. Highly recommended.

Went to Vermont over the weekend. Decent snowboarding. Managed a tight 180 off a mogul, but not off of anything in the terrain park. I’ll have to work on that next time, hopefully with a lesson.

Watched Dodgeball, Spaceballs, and Napoleon Dynamite on the way over, and The Bourne Identity on the way back. Definitely a linearly positive quality-time ( Read more... )

Temperature is back up to 101.9 F. Sigh. It was down to 99.9 yesterday, after drinking a glass of cold milk! Was ~101.5 most of the day today. Looks like (barring a miracle from a God that doesn’t exist) I won’t be going in to school tomorrow.

Office Space doesn’t seem quite as funny when spontaneous combustion is eminently imminent.

I missed Chess Club on Friday because I swear I thought it was Thursday. (We had Monday off, thus my temporal mismatch).

It was the first time I hadn’t gone this year. One time before, I had to stay a half-hour late for a Calc test and nobody stayed around to play, but at least I showed up…
