After much intense practice with Sakaki-sensei, I have had a small breakthrough in my power. My voice once sounded completely inhuman when I used Mesmerismus. But through his careful training, it now sounds much better! Not completely normal-- there is still a strange preverbration quality to it that lets one know I am using my power-- but much

You've got a pet owl, right? How did you end up getting it? My grandfather used to have a pet scops owl named Tuku when I was young, though I thought the thing was pure evil, since it hated anyone that wasn't my grandfather and would bite everyone else in the family. ...Also, why is it named after a Greek mathematician?

One of our former sempais introduced me to him. The sempai could speak to birds, and this owl had taken an interest in me. Archimedes actually approached sempai's bird and asked about me, and it went from there. He is a kind bird, though. He is wary of most people, but very gentle and caring to some.
As for his name: The sempai in question had a Merlin falcon named Arthur. Continuing that them, I took the name of Merlin's owl in Disney's The Sword in the Stone for my owl.
What languages would you want to teach?

He probably will not bite. If you want to try, he likes being scratched on his crest. And if it looks like he might bite, I can move him away from you.
The way I understood it is that they have their own language names for themselves, but let us give them names we can pronounce. It is a way of bonding with us.
I am not sure about those two. But we can try and see who is interested, of you wanted?

I guess I can try doing that. I get the feeling I'm gonna wanna reflexively jerk my hand back if he makes any sudden movements, though.
Huh... That's pretty interesting to know. Would you even be able to pronounce his name in the Avian language? ...Now I'm starting to wonder what Osoreko-chan's name is in her own tongue.
Like I said, I'm not expecting much interest, if any at all. But I'm not doing anything else during the meetings, so yeah, might as well just see if anyone wants to learn them.
