My free time the past few months has been taken up by watching Merlin. I started calling it my “bedtime show” as I would watch one episode per night curled up with my laptop. It was just so much fun! Of course, it eventually went from bring a fun show to a fun-and-heartbreaking show, but that’s how these things tend to go, isn't it?
I ended up pretty much adoring most of the characters, and because of that as soon as I was caught up I started planning like five different fanmixes. (And it also inspired me to make my first fanvid in over a year as a gift for my friend hereghost). The first mix of the bunch I’ve finished is this little tribute to Morgana and Morgause. Well, I say little but it actually is a bit of a monster at 33-tracks. I just have a lot of feelings about Morgana, okay? And I absolutely adored Morgause as well. I mean she was a lady knight! Do you know how I feel about lady knights? Well okay, chances are you don’t. But if you did know, you would know that I love lady knights quite a lot. I totally flailed with glee every time Emilia Fox showed up in her armor.
Special thank you for my personal motivator mad-teagirl who pretty much kicked this whole mix off when she was like "If you decided to make a fanmix for Morgana and Morgause I think you should put ‘Set Fire To The Rain’ and Love Darling’s ‘Closer’ cover on it. Oh you don’t actually have those tracks? Here you go." And then I was like "All right, this mix is happening."
