That was fucking awesome, a mix and a fic. *clappy hands* I really enjoyed the fic, everything was understated and it never once went over the top with the goo (I hate the goo) and because of that, it stayed perfectly IC. That's a toughy when it comes to Sherlock.

Very much enjoyed this and it's so pretty to look at. BONUS. :D :D

Nope, not too gooey--I'm of a mind that while he'd NEVER be Mr. Heart-on-his-sleeve, Sherlock would be warmer and more affectionate with someone once he finally committed to them/the idea. After a not-so-mild freak out over the implication of having a Feeling like that.

Forgot to mention this earlier, so here it is now: I am so fucking in love with the whole scene involving the drugs and the metaphor about the cracks in his glass and omg, it was seriously AWESOME. The imagery of the track marks is like, branded on my brain. I am a whore for drug fic when done well and that bit was done SO well. Which is weird because that almost never happens and given the fandom and the character, you'd think...

Your art is very nice, so of course I do. ♥

Thank you again, I too, definitely have a soft spot for drugged out Sherlock. It is surprising that it doesn't come up as often you would think in this fandom, especially since it's Sherlock. Although if you haven't read the Paradox verse that has a very lovely drugged out Sherlock segment.

I said it once and I'll say it again, your comment always make me incredibly happy.

I know, it is so strange that there's not more drugged out Sherlock in fic. I had a Very Long conversation with a friend about that last night and we both agreed it was bizarre because Sherlock being a junkie is canon from day one. And no, I've not read the Paradox 'verse, but if you have a link I would be more than happy to read it.

It's true, taking aside that in original Sherlock Holmes there's like, a million times poor Watson come home to Holmes high as a kite, they totally address it in the first episode of Sherlock as well. So who knows? I guess a lot of people want to stay away from that particular aspect when writing him. Who knows, I have a thing for writing drugged Sherlock so I can only explain them so much...

The Paradox verse is over here: http://wordstrings.livejournal.com/2753.html

Yes and he absolutely had dope hidden in the flat somewhere, despite his protestations of being clean. He doesn't eat or sleep when he's working a case--What do you think is keeping him awake and his appetite quelled? Oh, no, I do not believe it. I disbelieve it so much that the first (and only) thing I ever wrote in this fandom had Sherlock being bombed and hitting on a light pole... So, that happened.

I would happily pay you (assuming I had money) to write another Sherlock/John fic with Sherlock being a dope fiend. Or hell, Sherlock gen would be fine. You wrote it SO well that I was all, "Yes, yes, yes!" about that bit, complete with clappy hands.

Thank you for the link; I am really looking forward to reading it. *clicks*

Okay I don't have words for how hard I laughed when I read the sentence

"Sherlock being bombed and hitting on a light pole..."

I'm more then reasonably sure I snorted a little bit. I am going to have to go track that down now.

As soon as I finish up the fic series (and who knows, maybe in between it) that I'm currently working on for Sherlock, I'll more then likely start doing something Sherlock/John, I liked writing them more then I had actually expected to.

I do hope you like it, the Paradox verse is one of the better fic series out there for the Sherlock fandom, in my opinion
