(no subject)
Due to the torrential downpour I was able to go out and pull all the weeds very efficiently - like, dandelions came up including the whole root with only a good tug. So I pulled up a bunch of weeds. Sam helped and became extremely dirty and wet. She was so happy. Until it was time to go in, then not so much. Now she's spinning in circles in front of the fan.
Tomorrow while there is so much give I'm going to oust those nasty barberries provided it isn't pouring then too. Still trying to figure out what to put in their place. Maybe a couple of tiny dwarf trees or butterfly bushes, dunno.
Yesterday's cleaning success included the dining room, family room, pantry, laundry room, library living room, and parts of the kitchen and bedroom. I'm pleased with myself.
