On the JAVA issue, I was confused. I had disabled JavaScript, which is not the same thing as Java. Turns out JavaScript is not the issue, and now I can have G-chat back. So, we've been iced in since Tuesday. Temperatures have been below 20°F. On Friday, it was supposed to get up to freezing. Yeah.

Okay, setting out for home. It's 24 degrees, wind chill makes it 18 - balmy for you mid-western types! But it iced overnight and there are accidents everywhere.

It's snowing! I know, for those of you in the blizzard, it's not a happy-making thing. But I have seen very few white Christmases in my life. It's exciting! And it won't stick.
