Stephen, Jon, Bryan, Aaron <3
i remember going for the first gig ever in my life 3 years ago. i had hardly any knowledge of either bands, Copeland or Anberlin. i was there mainly for Copeland but Anberlin blew me away too. the first night of jumping, moshing and everything was just great. the next night, they had a secret show at Home Club. i wasn't even 16 then and i had to borrow my sister's ic to get pass security. i remember being bugged by my parents' phone calls to go home early and being very, very upset since it was just 4 days before my 16th birthday. the acoustic set that both bands played will always be remembered by me.
but more so, was how warm and friendly they are to fans like me. there was no i-am-the-celebrity/ musician/ band-and-you-the-fan/ groupie/ mere mortal thing going on. Crystal and i were just talking to Aaron and Anberlin's Stephen like friends would. they were all so sweet. till today, i can still remember how beautiful Aaron's blue eyes are when they pop open whenever he went "huh". cute much!
talking about cute, we cannot, and i say cannot(!) leave Stephen, dear guitarist of Copeland, out. he's not your drop-dead gorgeous cute guy really. but if you've seen him dance around like a geek with his specs, thinking no one's looking just because there wasnt a crowd/ he wasnt on stage, or seen him blush when told he's cute, you will fall in love with him instantaneously. how can you not! {:
3 years ago. [sorry for the lousy quality pictures]
Anberlin!
the talented Aaron Marsh of Copeland!
and of course, Stephen Laurenson! can you tell how happy i was then! :DDD
no individual shots with them this time but here's one with Steph and Bryan when we bumped into them, burst out into giggles and asked for a photo at the traffic junction on the way to *scape. photo courtesy of Felina. haha.
Jon: yeah we met the merlion!
Aaron: and im gonna catch him!
haha, love it! {: so these 2 days were great thanks to these guys. im sorry Copeland's taking a break when they're done with this last tour. Aaron's gonna be producing music, Jon's gonna continue drumming wherever, Bryan and Steph's working on their on project
States but let's keep out fingers crossed and hope for their return togetherrrr! [:
ps. to whoever who saw this annoying head sticking out from the crowd and blocking your view at Copeland yesterday, i apologize. i honestly didnt mean to. i would never have worn my heels if i'd known it was a free STANDING event but the ticket stated "free seating" so sorry! {:
