That icon is so adorable I may die.
But on to more important matters. Like me, trying to write an actual post :D It's definitely been a "too much fandomy stuff to post about and thus not posting at all" thing.
First of all, Writer's Strike.
I support them wholeheartedly, and I completely get why they do it. In case you for some reason still don't know what it's about: Why we Fight. Very informative youtube clip.
It also makes me all squishy inside to see how many not-writers (actors etc) support their writers. See Heroes, The Office. And many others.
Joss post about it at Whedonesque. Aaaw, Aly and Alexis were there, too. I love them. ♥
Also: Photos of Joss, Marti Noxon and Drew Goddard at the Picket line. And an interview with Joss about it all.
The completely unfair downside of it all is, of course, that the new shows are threatened. Even shows that already got a full season order, like Pushing Daisies, are in danger, but it looks especially bad for the ones that have not been officially renewed yet, like Dirty Sexy Money and Life. How about Chuck, btw? Did they get a full season order before it all started?
It's all really scary. I can't even imagine Chuck getting canceled. It was awesome at the beginning, but is has just been getting steadily better with every episode and the latest one was the best yet.
Positive show news for a change, via stabbim: Dexter gets a 3rd Season. About damned time. I don't know if the article contains spoilers, I haven't actually read it yet. Be warned.
Also: Dexter Glarkware Shirt. So awesome.
In (very weird) Star Trek news, as reported by canadian_turtle: Winona Ryder will be in the movie - as Spock's mother. O_o I'm guessing there'll be a flashback (or time travel? *shudders*) thing, because otherwise it would just be majorly weird, she's only a few years older than Zach, after all :D
And speaking of Zach: pics of him and KB on the Set of Heroes. Nnnnnnngh Holy god. Want. Now. Please.
Also: KB looking really really pretty at her Assassin's Creed thing. With bonus Masi, Grunny and Ryan Hansen!
Finally, not related to any of this but damned useful: How to permanently turn off those frakking snapshot pop-up thingies. *stabs them violently*
