Been a while. Time to update!
Sooo, it's been a while...here's where we stand. Deployment, still on time. Underway 30 Mar for POM CERT. Don't know when I'll be back. So...Looks like i'll be gone for 7 months of this year either over to CENTCOM or EUCOM. I'm Hoping it's EUCOM. I wanna go play with Russians. So, 16 Mar rolls around. LEAVE TIME! JJ came down to Norfolk to pick me up and we split the drive back to Roanoke. We're going to head back down on Friday, after I meet the parents. I'm thinkin Sublime T-shirt and baggy trousers for that one!
Things with Jennifer are going splendidly. She's been that one place i can run when i need to someone to talk to and keep my spirits up where they need to be.
Not looking forward to this deployment though. Not like last time. God I hope this one doesn't end like last time. I don't honestly think I could take another repeat of last year. So, for the last couple days Jennifer and I have just enjoyed each other's presence and reveled in the nights that we've been able to share. The kisses we've stolen in the moonlight and the hugs that we lay on each other in the daytime. The laughter love and friendship continues to grow. I honestly feel at peace when I'm around her.
On to other news, I want to not be the go to guy when everything hits the fan. I really am just tired of being the one who has to keep his cool and keep a level head about his shoulders.
