Over the last year or so I've gotten involved with the Antique and Historical Arms Association (or Hystericals for short). The short version: The trip to Brisbane was an utter blast and I got to meet lots of cool people, ride around on armoured vehicles, shoot guns, and dash about like a loon in Russian uniform. I'm now tired, bruised and happy, and planning to go back next year if I can.

I'm utterly buggered from my day poncing around in WWII Russian get-up at the military vehicles show. So I'm not gonna give you all a blow-by-blow description right now.
