Glee Live sounds awesome ^o^ If only I didn't live in the farthest corner of Scandinavia.. *sigh*
As for the bad eating habits, I do think your parents do have a big impact on what your relationship with food will be. When I was a kid my mom was almost always on a diet, so it would be a lot of really bland (and for some reason soggy) healthy food or when she'd inevitably slip and she always did, tasty junk food. During her diets it meant that whenever I got some money I'd spent it on treats (I once bought and ate an entire grilled chicken which was probably pretty weird behavior for a twelve-year old ~.~), and then she'd give me a long lecture on the perils of fat. And then on the same week bring home chips and ice cream. So as I grew up, I went from chubby to skinny and from underweight to overweight. And now I'm trying to eat healthy and find some middle ground which isn't easy with my near pathological love of all things candy. So far I've managed by limiting my candy intake to a few pieces a day and eating more veggies.
And yeah, I have the same problem with water. I don't like the taste so I keep frozen cubes of fresh lemon juice in the freezer. When I have a glass of water I put a cube in it. It gives the water a slightly lemony taste with barely any calories.
They really do; I have SO MANY of my mom's eating habits. I think "comfort food" was probably one of the first phrases I ever learned lol. I don't like sweets, at least . . . but I wonder if that's better or worse than a pathological love for greasy, fried food.
I don't like lemony water either. *is frustratingly picky* :[
