One of my babies (kitties) does not feel well. My little Harry has a couple places where he rubbed the fur off himself, and it is scabbing, so Lochai took him to the vet. I get a phone call saying "Don't laugh at Harry when you get home". Turns out that he has allergies (possibly to his food), and that he has to wear one of those big collars for the next two weeks, as well as taking steroids and antibiotics. My poor baby.
I was trying to decide what kind of present I should get him, but so far Sir has vetoed all of my ideas. (Of course, my ideas were a bit over-the-top.... I wanted to get Harry a bird or a fish to keep in his water bowl.) So, I guess I'll just have to give him lots of love and attention.
In other kitty news, my mommy has offered to take my cat to the vet so that she can move in with us. I have been waiting to move her until I get her annual shots done, but I have not had time to take her. Hopefully this means that she can move down within the next week or so. I'm kinda hoping for this weekend, if schedules permit. We'll see.
Once she moves down, we will have five kitties, and I will be one step closer to being officially moved in. All that is left is getting some of my stuff (ie. furniture, books, clothes,...) moved down, and getting approval from the condo association. So, I am excited. Things are so busy now, and just going to get busier. I start school next Thursday, and I will be in class from 6-10pm Mon. thru Thurs. This will be along with working 8:30 to 5. I will most likely end up cutting back my hours at work, but I haven't decided how much I need to cut yet. Guess I'll just have to play it by ear.
