waking the dead
Well between web sites, work project almost tied up and done and a massive new very exciting project on the horizon very soon... phew life has been chaotic since I last wrote in here (which, was frankly, a very very very long time ago).
exciting things are happening and I need some place to log all of this, so here is a good a place as any.
Waiting on a very important phonecall tonight or tomorrow, which is likely to change the way Sirin and I make web sites forever. And, shock-horror, it's garbage related, but that sort of figures...
Tomorrow is the final day on a project for Ford - a big fat website for Fleet drivers. Okay so it sounds really dull, but it was pretty interested developing it from the ground up. As usual I was the sole (soul?) designer and developer, which led a a fucking steap learning curve (programming stuff, database stuff) and no small degree of EXTREME STRESS.
Tomorrow site goes up, and tomorrow NIGHT is the xmas party at our gym, so a perfect wind-down. YAY.
Then a weekend off (to sober up?), and next week into (I hope) the new uber-project.
Feeling weird. This past month has been surreal and dreamlike. Partly because of having a billion ideas popping in my head about the novel (yes still working on one or more of those things), but not actually sitting down to write. Eventually it'll be my head popping.
Sirins not feeling to good. Always worries me.
Oh well. Time for mint tea.
