Title: Subaru/Shota drabbles
Comments: A bit of fluff, alcoholism and hangovers... the screen goes all black when they start doing stuff...
Disclaimer: Sadly I don’t own any of the following characters. This is nothing but fiction.

Have fun!

previous parts: 1-5, 6-7, 8-10, 11, 12-13 tbc...

12.the doorknob

“The doorknob broke, we can’t get out.”

Shota stared dully at the metallic handle resting on the table in front of him. “What do you mean it broke?”

Subaru shrugged. “Well it just did.”

This couldn’t be right… Shota grabbed the broken handle and rushed to the door so he could try and reattach it, but without any luck. He gave up when he heard a soft amused laughter coming from behind him.

“It really is broken…” Shota said looking at Subaru, sounding a bit worried. “What are we going to do now Shibuyan?”

Subaru didn’t answer. Instead he drew closer, sliding his hands around the younger boy and smiled wickedly wriggling his eyebrows.

Shota groaned: “Is that your solution to absolutely everything?”

“Are you complaining?” Subaru asked, quirking an eyebrow.

Shota seemed to think for a moment… then he kissed him.

When Yoko broke in to the studio next morning with the help of a locksmith, he was more than surprised to find Subaru and Shota all cuddled up and sleeping on the couch.

A while later, after hearing the whole story (or more like half of it, but he could guess the rest), all he could do was- roll his eyes and say: “You know guys, you both do have mobile phones and all… “

“Oh… right…” was all that Shota managed, because Subaru was sleepily snuggling against his neck.

13. memories

Subaru cursed alcohol to the bottomless pit of the universe, because obviously he had had too much of it last night and now his head was aching like mad. All would have been fine… or maybe not fine, but at least better if he could have stayed in his cozy hotel room, but unfortunately they had two concerts that day so there was no way he could have taken the day off.

But that of course didn’t mean that he didn’t try. When Hina came to drag him out of bed in the morning, because he had already slept in and was late to everything, he was almost kicking and screaming, begging that they would make Yoko or anyone else who wanted to sing instead of him, but of course nothing worked. He had to get up and prepare for the concerts.

To put it short- Sometimes being an idol really sucked.

There was still an hour left until the first concert started, so he was just sitting and slowly sipping water from the bottle Hina had caringly provided him with, even though he knew perfectly well that it didn’t make much of a difference now, because he should have drunk the water last night to avoid feeling awful in the morning. Which he of course didn’t. Obviously.

He stared at his own sloppy face in the mirror across the room, feeling really miserable about his own stupidity, so it was kind of nice when Shota came and gave him a comforting hug and whispered: “I really had a good time last night,” in his ear, his warm breath causing a cold shudder run up Subaru’s spine. A quick peck landed on his cheek, which caused Ohkura and Ryo, who were sitting close by, openly gape at them, before Shota’s hands disappeared from around his neck.

He brought his hand to where Shota’s lips had just been a second ago as he watched the younger boy walking away. Yeah, definitely nice.

He just wished he could remember what it was they did last night.
