It's hard to say. I like honest feedback, personally, but I don't tend to give it if I don't know the person I'm reviewing genuinely can handle it. Even I get insecure when someone's being really honest with me, but that's the point at which I go and make myself a sandwich. And sometimes it is hard to tell a flame from an honest review if you are being insecure or are emotionally riled up about it

Having read your edit, the mod wasn't paying attention. If it really had been your first comment that could come off kind of badly, but if you've commented before (and quite nicely) than that's just... Being kind of bitchy.
I think I'm just not going to review unless I know for sure that the writer can handle it. So I'll just leave nice reviews and be careful if I have some negative criticism or something. :|
Anyway, I did not answer the moderator's PM diplomatically, but she totally was out of line with how she approached me. As such, I have made mincemeat of her. :| The end.
If she responds like an idiot, then honestly, I don't need to be part of that community. I can post my work to chuunin and narutoyaoi, and she can realize just what kind of a writer she stupidly chased out of her community.
Her loss (and the community's), really. I will be sad to not read YonKaka as easily, but they're not my main ship, anyway.
True enough. There's no need to remain in a community when you can post elsewhere.
The best case scenario is she rethinks her attitude, apologizes, and you both discuss it to your mutual satisfaction. As much as I hope that happens, I'm aware it's unlikely.
Still, either she responds well and it resolves happily, or you leave the comm and your integrity remains. I suppose it's technically a happy ending either way.
