We're Goin' to the Inferno...
Today in our game against Brawley we did really well. It's been a long time since we've played a "real" game (due to the lack of competition in our league), so it was nice to see that we came out successful. Everyone was hitting pretty well and we had some great plays on defense resulting in our victory of 3-0.
Now, our next game is on Tuesday in the middle of fucking nowhere, aka El Centro. This wonderful part of San Diego is located about 2 hours Southeast of our little Encinitas. Oddly enough we went there last year for our second CIF game (and played Brawley in the first... wierd) and it was a sweltering 105 degrees, yea real pleasant, like a mini-Hell. So due to how far we have to travel, we get to leave school at 12:00 on Tuesday, sweet, I guess...
