I think that if you truly care about someone you would sacrafice anything for them without question. too often good people face difficult choices proposed
by the ones they love. they completely go against their morals and better judgement; allowing themselves to be treated like crap. so why put up with it? because even when it hurts so bad, it still feels so good. severing all ties would entail complete loss of contact. better to have them in your life then not at all, right? the hardest part is letting them go. realizing and accepting how much they hurt you and how when you stay up all night waiting for them to call they aren't even thinking of you and that they never have. in life we face many difficulties, and it is our call to distinguish the lines of self-infliction. we love to be loved, but we can't truly achieve this unless we love ourselves first!
