How Bizarre!

The world is full of gossip, and slander... it's all over the media and everywhere you turn. It becomes so normal that sometimes we forget to think about what the person who is being spoken about may think, and what they feel it's weird...
I was watching an E True Hollywood story about Lindsey Lohan the other day, and I really felt sorry for her because of all she has to go through as far as people always talking about her and stuff, and one thing she said is that people love to hear about it when bad things happen, and people love to hear about drama... no one wants to pick up a magazine and read about how good things are going for everyone else, because then it just makes them upset about themselves, and they would rather get caught up in reading dirt on other people.
I think it's good to guard ourselves against the ways of the world, and think about stuff from God's perspective.
One thing that struck me is how everything happened between Hillary Duff and Lindsey Lohan... one dated the others ex bla bla bla... they have to hate each other, of course, right? That's what the world would say... the world would say that they should be enemies forever and never be at peace with one another... to the world life is all about rivalries. That's not how God wants us to be.
Let me suddenly switch from talking about two famous girls, and talk about my own personal and recent experience (hopefully that won't offend anyone... if it does just leave me a comment publicly rebuking me)
Last night the most incredible thing happened; God braught the most unlikely person into my life to give me love and encouragement in about an hour long heart to heart online... CRAZY! Soooo bizarre!
Where the world would say that we shouldn't get along and that we should hate each other, God saw two of His daughters whom He knew intimately, and He knew that He had this plan for them to come into contact with each other. We have such a lot in common, but the main thing, the most important thing that we have in common is that we both really love God.
We had both just got done with our quiet times and then went online and started chatting... and well, it was amazing how totally honest we could be with each other and stuff. Totally honest and open, and the funny thing is that I found myself really liking someone who the world says I SHOULD hate...
God's plan, however, is different from the world's, and I am in this world, yet not of it. God wants to work in our lives, and chose to somehow, perhaps use each other. It's so weird and unlikely and against everything that society says that it could ONLY be God's hand working!
Totally bizarre and totally awesome... God works in some mysterious ways.

Not to "drop any names on here" I know that can become a huge problem sometimes, but this girl's name is Sarah.
And speaking of Sarah, my roommate for next year is also named Sarah, and she is in for a real treat with me, cuz I am going to confuse her! Mwahahahha *evil laug* no no, not really, I was just kidding but neways, these are hillarious...:

15 Ways to Confuse your roommate

1. Sit up. Say, "time to make the donuts." Leave. Do this often.

2. Every five minutes, get up, open the door, peek out, close the door and look relieved.

3. Express an extreme fear of sunlight. Move away from and flinch at areas of the room that are sunny.

4. Pick up the phone every five minutes and say, "hello." Look confused and hang up.

5. Unwrap a candy bar. Eat the wrapper and throw the chocolate away.

6. When listening to the radio, sing along with different lyrics and a different tune.

7. Address your roommate by a different name every time you talk to him or her

8. Constantly drink from an empty glass.

9. Every time you handle something of your roommate's, use a tissue or gloves.

10. While unlocking your door with the key, complain that the engine won't start.

11. Name your animal crackers. Mourn for them after you eat them.

12. Get a pet rabbit. At a designated time every day, take the rabbit into the bathroom and engage in loud shouting matches. If your roommate inquires, refuse to discuss the situation.

13. Try to make meals using your roommate's electric blanket.

14. Put black tape over the eyes of the people in your roommate's pictures. Complain that they were staring at you.

15. Everytime your roommate falls asleep, wait ten minutes, wake him or her up and say, "it's time to go to bed now."
