[The Major didn't think a damn think about eating mushrooms. Why should he? If this place decided it would provide produce, then he would gladly partake of it. Even if it was suspicious, he would do it in order to see what game the town might have come with this time ( Read more... )

[You caught a puzzle kid.

A very confused puzzle kid who is trying to squirm his way out of your grip.]

[Oh no. No that won't do. He'll be increasing his grip to a death hold.]

Oh? No words butler?

Speak up! Are you just that elated at your victory?

[That just causes him to struggle even more, and he's shaking his head wildly.

As much as he'd like to, he can't speak. But he'll continue trying to escape.]

Pathetic.

[The Major releases his grip, pushing at Luke to force him towards the ground, glowering at him.]

If you wish to be so silent, then I expect no bickering for what must be done next. Now get up.

[What must be done...? What's that supposed to mean?

Luke's not going to complain about being let go, and quickly scrambles to his feet.]

[The Major glowers at look a bit more, but is satisfied that he's standing up before turning around and leading the way.]

Come.

Somewhere, on these fire-blasted streets of London, stands your previous master. Since you did so well in cutting down her other servant, I expect you to finish and cut down the next one, as well.

[Luke almost seems like he's going to follow the Major!

...Except that he's running right past him. Seems like he's more interested in leaving!]

[A short, bitter cackle.]

Treachery? My, what a surprise!

[Hear that Luke? That's a gunshot.

It's pretty poorly aimed, but you may want to run a bit faster.]

[The gunshot barely misses his foot, and he starts to panic because he has been shot before.

So he'll try to run a little faster, but the only problem is the "obstacles" he sees in his way are slowing him down.]

[The Major's laughter at that echoes throughout the area. Walter C. Dornez, the Angel of Death, returned to his prime. And running in fear. Running from him. Oh. That is too much.]

Run! Run! Be quick on your feet, you traitorous dog!

[Another gunshot, even more off-mark from the Major's mirth.]

[It grazes his leg, enough to be painful but not enough to hinder him too much.

Right now he's trying to find the best way to escape, and stops a long alleyway. It doesn't look particular safe, and from Luke's perspective the alleyway seems to stretch for quite some distance. It's blocked off by a chain-link fence, and although risky it is possible to climb it.

But what Luke also sees is a few bear traps, he might be able to get away if he can slip around them. So he turns and heads into the alley.]

[Still roaring with laughter, the Major follows Luke into the aisle, smirking at him, gun still drawn.]

Well? Is this it? Is this all I might expect from you?

Shall you not cut me down, sever me while you have the chance? Will you really just run?

[Getting closer now, Luke.]

[When Luke realizes the traps he sees aren't slowing the Major down, he darts further into the alley.

And immediately tries scaling the fence in an attempt to get away.]

[Oh trying to get away are you, Walter? No, we won't have that.

The Major trots over and attempts to grab at Luke, trying to find a hold and pull Luke off of the fence.]

My, you truly are a rat in more ways then one, attempting to scamper back to whatever hole you might find, Walter.

[Luke yelps, trying to desperately grab at the fence as the Major pulls him off it.

As soon as he's dragged off, he tries squirming out of his grip.]

[The Major puts both hands on Luke's shoulder's gripping tight. Even still, it's hold to get a good grip on the squirming boy he's trying to hold down, but he doesn't care. The butler will acknowledge him.]

Look at me.

Look. At. Me.
