as of late...ive had nothing to really but sit and think. and after a few days of that, ive come up with one thing. ive managed to come up with the one true statement someone can say about mankind, humanity, the world, society, etc etc etc ( Read more... )

haha you philosopher. though apparently you wont be reading this anymore im just gonna say this: you can't expect people to change with out trying to change yourself. not changing yourself to fit in, but changing yourself to be good. and good does not mean nice... because nice means pleasantly going along with the crowd without causing a scene
if you want mankind to not be fucked up, try not fucking things up and caring about everything.... its damn hard becasue apathy is o so easy.

or maybe the problem with mankind is that theres just too many of us.. if there were less people maybe the general knowledge of the world would be divided into greater portions....

ah touche...
but people can only change who they are to an extent. going along with the crowd and just being is good and all...but it tends not to make a difference in the long for society in general. youre right that people shouldnt purposely try to fuck things up..but in order to do that youd have to posess nothing and make no decisions yet still manage to no offend somebody and manage to continue to be socialy accepted. the only way to not fuck thing sup in the long run is to make sure everyone you come in contact with is happy with what you do..which is pretty much impossible.

i like this philosophy shit

you're assuming though also that you're not allowed to make waves... you should and can... obviously if someone is fuckign up majorly you should try to stop them.. and even if a whoel group of people is fuckign up majorly... hence prophets... but then remember the consequences... you are promptly stoned to death. though death can be an activists most valuable ally... who do we appreciate more? martin luther king jr? or rosa parks? MLK was killed tragically for his courage... soo its a bit more moving.

im not talking about changing the world or anything..im talking about society in general. even your examples are about a group of people that wanted something...im not saying it was a bad thing or anything. but i am talkiing about is trying to keep the peace for everyone...that is what is impossible

i can't help but add my 2cents, so, to quote natalie portman:

"What do you do? You laugh, you know? I'm not saying I don't cry. But in-between, I laugh, and I realize how silly it is to take ANYTHING too seriously. "
