really awesome day off.
woke up early..worked out and did some pilates since im worrying about my back and flexibility. twas good.
the weather is SO nice today. my bike works and i met up with anthony for lunch at the beaver..i almost killed myself on the way there and hit a parked car and scraped my leg and got bike grease on my socks. boo..but i am alive!
i had a really good avocado, tomato, bacon and havarti on rye and scrambled eggs and i iced my earl grey..they have a shit patio but it was stillnice..and a really good catchup time with anthony. i talked about dave a lot, it was probably really annoying. but MEH! im excited..figured out apartment stuffs..hes going to start moving in in august and hes setting up an account so everything will be settled before i go. hes going to pay half of august..which will help me out before the craziness..and it will give me some time to get all my stuff sorted. hes going to look after some of my things, so i dont have to worry about storage and cramming everything i own at my dads.
then we went for a big huge bike ride down to the water front. the lake was really busy..tons of people outside. and i got some bike safety lessons and learned how and when to switch gears and all that stuff.
walked around ossington a bit before he had to start work..met some dudes from levack block..finally i know how to pronounce it!
now im at my dads..took the ttc..but i wanted to bike it. dad said no till i get a helmet and lights and realize that its too far and i wont have time for my body to recover. walked around the side streets..reminds me of being a kid only everything looks smaller. all the trees have leaves finally and it smells like flowers everywhere. visited mum's bench..wet paint. ah well. i want to go to mt pleasant cemetary..maybe bring my bike and do those paths. i really need to.
i got a bit too much sun today. im probably going to burn. boo fair skin! i cant beleive i forgot sunblock. my face cream has some spf but i was outside all day. i was SO SO SO SO SO happy to have the day off.
i had a really good phone call with dave last night, really excited about this osaka business. way more exciting than hawaii. hawaii involves bathing suits and typical vacationary tropical getaway stuff that while i would totally have fun, its never something i daydream about. osaka is far..and im trying to figure out the value of extra money or extra time. im very nervous about spending too much time in a recirculated air environment since i got bronchitis from that econolodge and von's car on the way to nyc. i havent been in an office environment in a long time. im used to hood fans.
i think i can afford it..it will be less money for paris..but i managed to do nyc and have an amazing time on just 500$..and im not all about doing expensive touristy things..its main focus is the company im keeping and just chilling the fuck out and having new terrain to explore.
i really want to see the osaka aquarium.
anyway..im waiting for my dad to get home..i dunno where he is. and looking up travel stuff. i wish my stupid card would arrive so i could just go now now now.
