springs1, in a community he or she appears to be the only member of, offers some suggestions on what makes a good restaurant servant server. This includes memorizing the menu from one end to the other, including the exact price and what condiments are served with each dish, and somehow being able to fix problems with meals during the time between when the cook puts it out and when its brought to your table. Otherwise, tending to other patrons while tending to you, bringing you a drink refill when you didn't ask for it, forgetting the marinara sauce? NO TIP!

Please note that spring1's desire to put a crackdown on the service industry is partially motivated by the fact that he/she was once charged .04 cents extra on a check. GOD BLESS THIS BRAVE CRUSADER.
