Why Live Journals should be made illegal

First of all, they're addictive. I suddenly know what all you freaks are on about.
Secondly, they're an invasion of privacy. Wait, let me explain!
I know that everyone who has an LJ has the ability to filter their entries, and oftentimes they do, but if you put a new friend on your list and point them to your LJ, they can read back many entries and find out stuff that either they don't want to know, or feel really bad about reading. I mean, stuff that makes you wonder why ANYONE would want to write it down ANYWHERE. Especially not for public consumption. I appreciate being party to the nakedest, innermost thoughts of people... but... when the thoughts are an extensive analysis of me... I feel like I'm spying. But I can't HELP myself. I'm addicted.
So I can't really quit now, can I?
