Survival

Holy crap, I survived last week. I'm so surprised. I think working for my mom is a lot better this time around. She respects me more, still not to a point where I feel like I'm treated equally but its an improvement. She'll ask me what I think the best course of action is. She'll tell me I can do whatever I feel is the right way to go. But she still asks me to do dumb things like data entry, which is implemented in a very unorganized fashion. I know I shouldn't complain but I don't goto school for three years to do this. Just because I work with computers does not mean I learned how to put numbers and letters into the magic box.

My whining aside, the rest of the week has been okay. My real job is going fine. Two of the three more-senior-than-me members of the team are gone. I just have to oust KA and then EY and I will have full reign of the team. I fully intend to crack the whip as hard as I can. Outside of work I went to the gym lots, which I am super proud of. But it only balances out the greater amount of chinese food I'm intaking because that's what my father buys me after work.

My cousin came back from Vancouver this long weekend. That automatically means my family will get together, it's a trigger. So we went to pay our respects to my grandmother and grandfather and had family dinner that night. On Sunday, the cousins (four females and me :S) got together for brunch. It was delicious and the Blue Plate Diner is highly recommended by me.

That is all.
