Let's see... today I recieved an invoice from my insurance informing me that they paid $800 of the $1000 that I owed to the hospital. That's good. I had previously recieved a bill from the hospital telling me that I owed $1000 after recieving an invoice from the insurance that said I was ineligable for all of it. So now I only owe $200. not bad

as far as science teachers go here. Biology is dominated by female teachers. Physics and chemistry are male heavy but also have a fair number of female teachers...

It's ironic that you should mention the levels of interest in latinas in the science subject, it has a lot to do with a conversation I was just having with Nina ^^;

I can't say that's the case here. But I can say as a half Latina going through school, I was in ESL since neither of my parents speak English properly, and because of that it seems I was "tracked" into the lower classes. When I reached high school, my councelors never made a big deal about science, and to this day I've never had chemistry. I took basic biology my senior year simply because I needed it to graduate.

And my bio teacher was indeed female. XD
