Reply to this meme by yelling "Words!" and I will give you five words that remind me of you. Then post them in your LJ and explain what they mean to you.
Artist: Any form of creativity and passion can make one an artist. Amazingly, this is the hardest word for me to define. I love this word yet it is so difficult to classify it as one thing. Music, writing, painting, tattoos, macaroni pictures... it's all there and I want to experience it.
Honest: A virtue masked sometimes as a vice. I'm tired of holding back what I'm feeling. Everything is out on my sleeve and there is nothing any of us can do about it. If what I have to say is uncomfortable then I apologize, but I'm not going to hide it.
Honesty really is the best policy. People appreciate it and when someone is looking for advice I feel it's best to tell them what they need to hear and not always what they want to hear.
Strong: My strength is a little like bravery. You do something that scares you and you don't hold back. It's easy to be crushed and immobilized by fear and I'm pleased (and a little honored) to see this word in description of me. I know my fears aren't always easy for people to understand but I try so hard to work past them for you all. I'd take mental strength over physical strength any day.
Although I do frequently surprise people when I move heavy objects myself.
Self-sacrificing: I asked someone else if this was a good way to describe me and the answer was yes. I realized I'm totally okay with that. My family, my friends, are rated so high in my life. I want to give all that I can for them; to make them feel happy, comfortable, and special. You need a favor; I'll do it. Want to move away to a new place; I'll do that too. Do I always like it? No, but it'll all work out in the end. Karma.
Babies: I want them SO bad. They're cuddly, precious, and oh so soft. And when they laugh? It's my favorite sound. Aside from that, though, how are children not amazing? I see them as physical incarnations of two people's love for one another. "See that? We made that together." Something to be proud of and to love. Making a human being; how huge is that?
This was actually easier for me to start at the bottom of the list and work my way up. Hope I didn't ramble. <3
