Well, Mick, Beth, Josef, Coraline, and the recurring characters whose names I never learned: I'm sorry to see you go. You were cheesy, but fun, and showed promise of growing out of your cheesiness near the end.
The Moonlight finale (1.16 "Sonata") tickled me with continuity -- I caught firm references to four previous episodes, and vague allusions to two more -- and it should be a sufficient compromise between an open and closed ending for the devoted fans. I wish them well, whoever is mourning the story's loss, whoever fell in love with a show for the first time and didn't know and couldn't dream to expect swift cancellation.
This weekend is the twelfth anniversary of the first broadcast of Forever Knight's "Last Knight," you know, give or take syndicated schedules. And so it goes.
