The BBC's North America editor recommended "Is West Virginia Welcome in Your Democratic Party?" on the Daily Kos, and I second that. He called it "wistful," but I didn't get that. I got "frustrated with outsiders not bothering to understand." One heart and mind at a time. Write no place off.
