It's Lent. I know this because one of the office managers had a big smudge on her forehead on Wednesday and didn't bother to wipe it off.
One health-oriented web magazine suggested going raw food vegan for Lent. I considered this for all of about, oh, 10 seconds. I like my vegetables hot, thank you very much. Instead, I've decided to spend the 40 days trying to be less afraid of calories. This seems counter-intuitive, considering that Lent is supposed to be about giving stuff up. But makes sense if one considers this a path toward giving up unhealthy eating habits.
My first baby-step along this path: LeRoi's now making my morning coffee with real sugar rather than Splenda.
Maybe at the end of this experience, I can write a script and get Josh Hartnett to star.
