Spices. I wants them (apparently). In the past few weeks, my thoughts have turned to Aztec chocolate cake, ginger cake, spice cake. Trying to ward off the late summer HVAC chill, perhaps?

Anyway, Black Pearl cake (chocolate cake with ginger and wasabi accents) has just jumped a few spots on the list.
