No, it's not Tuesday night, but I will not have power tomorrow night. We're looking at a week without power, yay. (I'm at a giant shopping center that has underground wires. Power companies should start going back and burying old wires, not just new ones

I'm glad you're okay! Be careful! Yes, a generator is nice when the power goes out, but we found out we could get a long okay without the week we had no electricity. I did figure out how to cook spaghetti on the grill! Thankfully, the local grocer had a steady supply of ice.

We got by for the week as well, but we're concerned about if we had a baby to take care of, or, in the winter, about pipes freezing. And the whole potential sewage in the garage thing.

Agreed! My baby was with me, but she was 27! It was also a nice spring week (aside from the tornadoes) with mild temperatures. Winter would make a big difference! We were glad we have a gas powered water heater. We took warms showers while a lot of our friends were making do with cold ones.
