i am saving a mass email to you [novella length i'm sure, i'm famous for those, huh?] for after chapter 45.

i used to think it was crazy when people said their characters talked to them & wouldn't shut up. when i wake up in the middle of the night & have to jot an idea down? kind of annoying, but useful. thanks for the push to write. :)

I love your novella length emails. Really I do. Gives me satisfaction to read over people's thoughts and see that I'm on track. Especially when I spend 8-10 hours on a chapter. It's a bit frustrating to spend that much time and get nothing said or "great chapter" from others. I'm not complaining though. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't send out the chapters. Part of the fun is in the sharing. :)

lol I haven't gotten that bad that my characters wake me up. They bother me enough during the day though. I think Tristan is at his strongest when I sit down and actually write him. He takes over and does what his little diva heart wants to. That's ok though. He has earned the right. :)

I'm glad you're still writing. Go you!

I don't write fiction, but I know what it's like to spend a lot of time writing a nice long mail to someone and get a 'that's nice' back... No complaints, though, I love to write. :)
I'm finally up to speed on MYU, and will be writing in my thoughts as soon as I get them in order. :)

Exactly. It's not a complaint as much as it is a frustration. I don't think people realize that what takes a person 30 minutes to read, takes a writer hours and hours and hours.

Feedback or not, I'd still be writing. It's just nice to have a conversation about things as well. :)

i'm going to have to do it this weekend. i've been swamped with work and i'm going to have to read both chapters again before i can form any coherent thoughts.

they don't wake me up in the sense of i wake up because they're chattering or whatever. what usually happens is that the baby makes some kind of noise, i wake up and while i'm trying to go back to sleep i get those ideas that have to be written down. blah.
