is it just me or did you do some re-vamping in the first chapter. It just feels different.

Nooope. First chapter is the same.

I think.

I don't remember changing anything in that. :)

i am saving a mass email to you [novella length i'm sure, i'm famous for those, huh?] for after chapter 45.

i used to think it was crazy when people said their characters talked to them & wouldn't shut up. when i wake up in the middle of the night & have to jot an idea down? kind of annoying, but useful. thanks for the push to write. :)

I love your novella length emails. Really I do. Gives me satisfaction to read over people's thoughts and see that I'm on track. Especially when I spend 8-10 hours on a chapter. It's a bit frustrating to spend that much time and get nothing said or "great chapter" from others. I'm not complaining though. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't send out the chapters. Part of the fun is in the sharing. :)

lol I haven't gotten that bad that my characters wake me up. They bother me enough during the day though. I think Tristan is at his strongest when I sit down and actually write him. He takes over and does what his little diva heart wants to. That's ok though. He has earned the right. :)

I'm glad you're still writing. Go you!

I don't write fiction, but I know what it's like to spend a lot of time writing a nice long mail to someone and get a 'that's nice' back... No complaints, though, I love to write. :)
I'm finally up to speed on MYU, and will be writing in my thoughts as soon as I get them in order. :)

- Ach.

Exactly. It's not a complaint as much as it is a frustration. I don't think people realize that what takes a person 30 minutes to read, takes a writer hours and hours and hours.

Feedback or not, I'd still be writing. It's just nice to have a conversation about things as well. :)

I wanted to touch base and say that I'm about halfway/caught up to where you are with the story. I have to say I'm getting pretty anxious and last night a read the last page of chapter 43 and by the looks of things...tristan & rylee aren't together at this point.

how sad :( though I can't wait to find out why....unless you're doing the same thing with t/r that you did with justin & lauren.

but i have to say, for a minute while reading chapters 27/28 another question sprang to mind. Will you write a tristen & rylee story line that's similar to what jc & his ex (pre-Miranda) went through?

I don't think that the storylines are similar or near each other at all. Lauren and Justin had their problems, JC had his problems with Kara, and Tristan and Rylee's problems are different from the others. You'll see when you get there. :)

If I didn't answer correctly, sorry about that. I'm not 100% sure what you mean by what JC and his ex went through. You mean Rylee leaving Tristan because she can't handle the pressures of dating a celebrity? Nope. That doesn't matter to her at all. :)

You answered my question well! Also, thank you for saying what JC's former gf's name was...I totally had a brain fart and I didn't want to go back through that story to find her name. so thank you, thank you very much :)

I am some what concered to see what Tom really has up his sleeve for Tristan & Rylee. Because how you wrote and continue to write what Tom did to Tristan & Lauren....it gives me chills to have to re-live it with Tristan. I know you don't show Lauren having flashbacks like you do with Tristan...and I can't imagine how she's handling it. Because all we see, as readers, is her lashing out at people.

Believe me, his flashbacks are nothing compared to what you learn when he finally tells everything. That is DRAMA and heartbreaking. (Was for me anyway.)

Lauren I think is doing pretty well. She's more of a fighter and less sensitive than Tristan. He went through a lot more than her, as far as getting hurt and what happened. She's definitely scarred, but what happened to him....you'll see. :)
