Soundtrack to the Tour de Tentsmuir

This morning, I went out on the bike, again. It's nothing special, just a few miles of cycle paths and forest paths that mean that I can listen to podcasts without worrying about not being able to hear any traffic. A very rough go on Mapmyrun says that the route is about 30k, or 18 miles.

And yes, since it's got cycling and Funeral, I'm contractually obliged to post Danny MacAskill's 2009 video. When I watch that video, it makes me really want to live in Edinburgh.

Anyway, the thing about the music is that, to my mind, The Funeral is a bona fide classic. It's the sort of song that I'll always enjoy listening to. Granted, I feel that it would be best listened to when you've been dropped out of a high orbit into a dogfight in the troposphere, but on headphones when you're cycling across the Tay Road Bridge works too.

What other songs that are relatively recent would I count as a genuine classic?
Regina Spektor - Us
The Submarines - Peace and Hate
Metric - The Police and the Private
And of course, the all-time record holder for most plays on my iTunes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Maps
