My love is universal, not particular!

They say that the minutes before you fall asleep sees the mind at its most creative. An author whose name I forget apparently reclined on his chaise-longue with a metal spoon in his hand and a pad of writing paper on a nearby table. When he fell asleep the spoon would drop with an awakening clatter from his hand and he would spring to his writing pad and commit to paper his thoughts before they disappeared into the ether.

Last night before I went to bed I had a veritable whirlwind of thoughts racing through my head. If such thoughts were committed to a journal entry, the result would be the equal of Jeff Lint's The Caterer*. The man who made that post, warren_ellis also wrote a great 100 words fiction challenge and gave birth to Stabbity Jones, which should not be read by people who object to bad language. or naughty bits. It's surprising how much of both Ellis managed to fit into 100 words.

*This isn't photoshopped at all. It's all real. Energy

In other news, my second favourite posh English girl is giving me major trouble just now as is my favourite, funnily enough.... I'm absolutely stuck at a section on Tomb Raider. In the past fortnight I've become much better at not dying, but no better at learning an essential skill that you really need to progress in the game; the Adrenaline Dodge. I think I like Legend more than Anniversary; at least I got as far as the final boss before being irrecovably stuck.

I'm also finally at a stage where my hair is a decent length.

I still need to get it cut at some point because the back is still a mess, but now I'm happy that it looks relatively good. I want to keep my hair this sort of length; I think that it suits me. Also, GIP
