I love Fridays
Today was great I went to 2 hours of lectures had lunch with
applecandi (Roast pork with MeeHoon) soooo yummy, then did a bit of shopping and couldnt be bothered going to the hospital and went home lol.
applecandi bought her ball make up from the Mac counter so i was eagerly watching all the subtleties of make up application and suggesting colours to match her outfit, (women get all the fun!!). The make up artist was really nice, although she soon cued into the fact that i wasn't the disinterested boyfriend being dragged to the makeup counter. So she asked "oh thats cool that you know all the makeup she has, are you artistic or something" hahahaha to which
applecandi replied "no hes my gay best friend" she laughed and said yeah i thought you were checking out my friend before (the male make up artist). The she went on to suggest in all seriousness "you know purple would really suit your pretty green eyes" WTF!? Do I really scream drag queen?? With my shaved head no less!? Well that was quite amusing.
As was the letter that greeted me when I came home, It was a letter from the Australian embassy in Rome, with my drivers licence I lost on my world trip in January. Apparently I lost it in Rome, it found its way to the Australian embassy, was sent to Canberra and then forwarded on to me. Bargain! now i dont have to organise a new one lol. Yeah I'd been a bit slow to do that.....
A shout out to all my peeps in Prague (I think??) P.S. thanks for the post card, curiously it was dated two days after the day I had recieved it, I mean Perth is a bit backward but we aren't in a time warp as far as i was aware lol.
