From Sarah's blog (I'm easily amused):
"Can't Knock the Hustle." Carson Daly is an idiot. But Ice-T was on his show tonight, so I violated my usually strict "no Carson Daly in my house" rule and decided to listen in. But if Daly says "pimp" or "pimpin" one more time, I don't even know.
Ice-T is, well, interesting. He keeps looking at Daly like he's trying not to beat the crap out of him. And apparently he is affiliated with the Westminster dog show. Yes, that's right, Ice-T is affiliated with the Westminster dog show. If I liked dogs, I might be more interested in that fact, but it is at least funny.
Ice-T was also in the military--at Schofield Barracks on O'ahu no less. I have a hard time imagining Ice-T in the military. Apparently, according to Ice-T, the military is hard. After the military, he robbed banks. Stupid Carson Daly tried to get him to talk about the bank robbing. Not surprisingly, Ice-T didn't think this was a good idea, but he mentioned he was safe because of the statute of limitations. And stupid Carson Daly said, "the statute of limitations doesn't apply after 1:30 a.m. These are the safe harbor hours." Why does this man have a job?
Ice-T's wife Coco showed up, wearing a tight white bra-like shirt and tight white jeans. The outfit was lacking in . . . um . . . class. And apparently the pick-up line and resulting exchange that won her over was as follows:
Ice: "Have you ever dated a gangsta rapper?"
Coco: "I would if he's nice."
Ice: "Well, if you put an 'N' on 'Ice,' you get 'Nice.'"
Well, their marriage is understandable. How could you possibly not fall for that line? I'm utterly horrified by the game "Pimp & Ho." Have I mentioned how painfully stupid Carson Daly is?
Ice-T really is an interesting man, even if he appears to be closer to Cop Killer than, you know, elite detective.\
My comments on Sarah's blog:
I don't think Carson Daly is that bad. But, I guess I also never watched him that much on TRL or his new show. And, as for the line, it's hilarious. Much better than the recent ones J.Jay has been presenting me with ;-)
