Iraq sucks! But God is cool, so life is good!
Well, I think that the title kind of says it all really. I am not to happy about being back here, yet, I know that there is not all that much time left on my sentance in hell and I am down with that. It is also nice to finally be connecting on a great personal level with God. I have started quiet times back up and I am having some of the most amazing connections in the word and in prayer that I have had in a while. I am really trying to invest in seeking God with my whole heart, even the parts that really dont want to play. I know that there is a work to be done there if I am willing to keep it up.
Thing Learned Thus Far:
1. Humility is good. really good (Prov 15:33)
2. God will always win, so don't start the fight
3. God will put you through refining fires to purify you. Deal with it! (Isaiah 1: 25-26)
4. Glory belongs to God alone! (Isaiah 2:8-17)
5. God is the only reason any of whatever it is happens. (1Cor 4:7, 11-13, Isaiah 10:15)
That is mostly it for now.... Other than that, life is shiny!
Prov 19:21- Many plans are in a man's heart, but the council of the lord will stand.
