update
I just finished my godforsaken 4010 assignment, and I feel good. Reeely good. I must have started it unconsciously because I have zero recollection of working on it at all except for these past couple days. I guess I must have summarized them when the strike started and then last week worked on putting together a rough draft because I somehow (?) typed it up on Tuesday and just finished it today.
On another note, I am not working insane hours anymore. For my last paycheck I clocked in at 62.5 hours and got ripped off because of taxes that kick in when you go over x hours. Once I find that threshold, I'll make sure to work under it...
So, what to do now? I still have some labs to finish up and I want to catch up on lectures *nerds*. But the one good thing about the strike that I've been benefiting from (aside from sleep, not having to attend class, and overall being a lazy ass) is that I have more time to experiment with making clothing and jewelry again. I remember one summer in high school I made over 20 items. And now? I'm starting to get back into it. Slowly.
I just thought of something. If we are legislated to go back to school within any time soon, then we will be having two months off. That's equivalent to a high school summer break. OH, SHIT.
