Let's see. I managed to do nothing but "lounge" around all weekend, popping all kinds of yummy prescription-only pharmaceuticals. I missed El Vez with artemiswinter. I missed the Hawks killing the Oilers (and I mean "slaughter"!!) with girlvii. I'm very sorry, ladies. I didn't get any cleaning done as I needed. Hope you're feeling better, luv. That sucks about the secret Santa, but, now you have an iron clad excuse to get yourself something nice. And you can feel free to go over the limit! ;)

Actually, I was kinda excited about being my own Secret Santa for all the reasons you listed! How often do we get to buy presents for ourselves AND wrap them up AND put on a big show of opening them!!

That's easy, all you need to do is go and see your friendly muscle relaxant issuing doc, and ask him for some drugs which will destroy your short term memory on a temporary basis, (does rohypnol do that - a bit un-PC there). Then, go shop, wrap and get the whole thing done before the drugs wear off. Then, you can really be completely surprised when you unwrap!! Cool!!

LMAO!! Shopping on drugs! What a great idea! My concern would be running up a bill that's too huge for me to pay-off, not remembering that and having to file bankruptcy! Other than that, I just might try it.

I hope YOU'RE well! I owe you a response to your email and REALLY should mail your holiday card this week, doll!

Get better! To stick with the theme, I propose that you secretly give yourself amphetamines to get you through the week and allow you to buy more presents for yourself.
