I'm pretty stiff today. The pain is mostly gone from my legs but my upper torso is sore as hell. Nonetheless, I'm off to Wake Tech campus to see about getting in on my first collegiate competition. So it seems that the secretary who handles all the records at the Catholic school I went to remembers me. She's been there over 40 years now. Interestingly enough, this is the school where I was the incorrigible "bad boy," always in trouble for something (some things I didn't even do!) and generally being a troublemaker and bad influence. You know how in high school, adults kept talking about your "permanent record, a record that will follow you the rest of your life?" Turns out that not only does it not actually follow you, but tracking it all down can be a real pill.

Just got my grade for my Geology final back, 92. Hell yes.

Additionally, I've done some quick arithmetic and it looks like I need a 50 on my Calculus final to make an A for the class. (If my math is right. Heh.)

So, yeah, I'd been going nuts the last couple of weeks with final projects and papers and the last chapter tests for my classes, etc. Well, it looks like there's one class I can officially write off of the "sweating this" list ( Read more... )
