bored.
... no really. I'm at work. I came in early because we have an early deadline for tomorrow's local paper, two hours earlier than normal. I don't have USA Today to print and I don't have delivery bookkeeping paperwork to print. Also, my manager is here to 'make sure everything runs smoothly'. Unless one of the platesetters starts emitting sparkage and smoke, I don't think there's going to be any problems. Also... he's out there sending my pages for me. So, I'm left here twiddling my thumbs until he either gets bored, called away or I get pages to plate.
I think I'll drag out the laptop and work on some wallpapers or icons or the like. Found some neat stuff for backgrounds/textures/brushes here at Nikon's microscopic photography contest website. A couple of my favorites are here and here. And then there's Boston's The Big Picture blog with high resolution images that range from incredible space porn to horrific terrestrial conflict.
