26. This one varies by fandom - for SPN, I would love there to be more fic about the connections between the different worlds of the canon - playing with concepts of purgatory/redemption, or which picked out the thread of epicness and developed that (viewing the canon through an epic tragedy lens and relating it to extant ones). For my small book fandoms (like The Charioteer) my wants are exactly the opposite - I'd like even more of the fics that deal with the tiniest, the most mundane of incidences, blown up to provide a portrait of the most minute moments of daily life, and all the awfulness contained within it (has to be awful). Alternatively, I'd like fics that used a kink to say something about the character involved with it.

I answered 14 above, though you're welcome to another number! (answer: I've got very good/picky at sorting fic that I want to read via summary, tags, author's name, length, so I backbutton out of surprisingly little fic. Woobiefication, the dynamic of blaming one character for things that they didn't do/couldn't control, untagged D/s has me backclicking fast - that's probably the one that does it the most. Occasionally boredom will do it, or feeling sure that I'm seeing/reading a different canon to the one the author is - I really don't like fic where it's patently clear who the author's favourite is, because it tends to warp canon/characterisation to support that perception.)
