2013 was pretty weird, in some ways. I moved. My mom made me a deal I couldn't refuse, so I gave up drinking Coke. (My mom gave up eating meat.) I stopped biting my nails. One of my best friends moved back home after eight years on the other side of the country and now she lives five blocks away from me. I went to dye camp for the second year in a row. People bought yarn that I dyed! My hair is the longest it's been since I was in high school. My bank account was in overdraft a lot, and I came within $3.00 of maxing my credit card out. I paid off my car. I slept in a screened-in porch for a week in August, and it was the coldest I have ever been.
