2012: how do you measure a year?

So I have been pretty spectacularly disorganized for the past month (and also the preceding thirty-four-point-five years), and did not manage to do anything like holiday cards or anything, but I can do this. 2012 was a better year for me than 2011, I think, and also a lot quieter. I feel like it was a pretty solitary year also, even though I spent a lot of it being NEVER ALONE AT ALL. I had two nice vacations, I knitted a lot ("") of things, and I spent a lot of time on Tumblr.
