Happy Birthday, turps33!!! And Happy Belated Birthday to divafits!!! I hope you both have/had/are having wonderful days! ♥♥♥

---

And then yesterday Terri did that thing where she gives you a letter and then you post five songs that start with that letter. So here are my songs starting with the letter C!

1. The All-American Rejects - Change Your Mind - AAR!!! I really love this song, it's very upbeat and like, "buck up, little chipmunk!", which I appreciate.
2. Bob Dylan - Corrina, Corrina - Last week, I needed a serious break from listening to modern rock bands in the car, and turned to good old Bob. I don't remember this song really standing out to me before from The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan, but I'm very attached to it right now.
3. Del Vikings - Come Go With Me - Stand By Me and its soundtrack instilled a great love of oldies in me at a young age. I am the person all of those Time-Life compliations are aimed at, and one of these days, I'm going to crack.
4. Joni Mitchell - Carey - Mmmmm, this song. My parents took me to Greece when I was two years old because of this song.
5. Lemonheads - Confetti - I was really into the Lemonheads around the end of my high school years, and I'm sad that Evan Dando has kind of faded into obscurity (he has, right?), but I do still love this song.

Let me know if you want a letter!

And while I'm at it, I want to do the always good "guess which song" meme, where you put your music player on shuffle and post the first lines of the first twenty songs that come up, and then people guess which songs they are. That one!

1. she's gone away / still they stay together / people call me crazy, crazy

2. you speak to me / I know this will be temporary

3. I'm really close tonight / and I feel like I'm moving inside her - Crowded House, 'Fall At Your Feet' (_jules_)

4. a friend in need's a friend indeed / a friend with weed is better - Placebo, 'Pure Morning' (_jules_)

5. I used to put my faith in worship / but then my chance to get to heaven slipped - Jamiroquai, 'Canned Heat' (_jules_)

18. you gotta gimme that, gimme that now / I'm gonna show you how - Sloan, 'Gimme That' (_jules_)

19. I don't know what I want, so don't ask me / 'cause I'm still trying to figure it out - Taylor Swift, 'A Place In This World' (pink_charlotte)

20. if you change your mind, I'm the first in line / honey, I'm still free - ABBA, 'Take a Chance On Me' (_jules_)

There are a couple of repeat artists in there, and one threepeat.

p.s. Dear Sloan, please, please get a mailing list that WORKS, so I don't have to depend on random visits to your website to tell me that you're touring. And why do you hate me so much these days? Why are you playing Toronto TWICE on worknights and not in London at all? Boo, hiss! Love, me.
