(no subject)
did some copy cataloging yesterday for my new internship. my new master keeps quizzing me on my knowledge of basically anything - mostly old english literature. there has to be a better way to make friendly, bonding conversation. i want to scream I KNOW MY DEGREE MEANS NOTHING, JUST LEAVE IT!!!! it's embarrassing. and it's messing with my Smartest Person in the World facade. (did you feel the towering wall of intellect? ha! ha!) i think i like cataloging, though.
had a not-very-fun game night last night. i want to play with all girls, i think. these boys, when they play, come to win. they get competitive and stand up to roll the dice when it's a really important roll. and i come to sit around with a bunch of geeks and eat pretzels and talk about how hot book!faramir is, and maybe that's a conversation for girls only. tonight is the first meeting of my new book club! which is all girls! YESSS.
