Alas, I did not get full time job I interviewed for. I freely admit that I was somewhat ambivalent about the position. In some ways it would be nice to have regular hours and a job with benefits, I just wasn't sure if it makes sense in my long plan as an artist. Now I have to decide what I want to do for work now. I'm going to skip Conflation this year, for a variety of reasons. Though chief among them is that I now work weekends. The schedule at my second part time job is Fri 12:45p-9:15p with a stoopid turnaround to Sat 8:45a-5:15p and Sun 8:45a-5:15p. It boils down to not a very good cost to benefit ratio ( Read more... )
