What is your favorite book?

I am currently reading "The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry" by Gabrielle Zevin in which all of the characters come with a reading list. Also, the title character believes you learn all you need to know about a person by the books they read.
One of my favorite pick up lines is "Read any good books lately?" because I've read some interesting books on the recommendation of others that I might not have picked for myself. I'd say the three most influential books when I was in grade school were The Song of the Lioness series by Tamora Pierce, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis, and A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle.  As an adult my favorite is a toss up between Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and Watership Down by Richard Adams. Watership Down made me care so much about what happened to those damn rabbits I stayed up until 5a to finish it.
