Katmandu, I'll soon be seeing you...

Yay for employment!!! My prayers were answered and I finally got a job at Twin Lakes today. That was the seventeenth application I'd filled out since I've been home. I'm not exactly sure what I'll be doing- either serving or being a "serving assistant"- the lady who runs the banquet hall there said I was too inexperienced, but she was way nice, and I guess is going to give me the benefit of the doubt. I just have to not suck at serving so I don't get bumped down to assisting. Maybe I should work out a lot before I start on Saturday? Oh well, assisting is $7.50 and hour, so I won't be too bent out of shape.

It's a bit hard to adjust to Rochester after living on your own for eight months. The rents are gettin a bit on my nerves, I must admit. I'm sure I'm getting on their's, too but...all I can say is next summer is going to be sweet- I'll finally be paying for my own rent and will be truly free to do whatever. And by whatever I mean...within my financial limits. But my parents idea of how I should manage my money is quite different from my own.

I starting learning to play the harmonica two years ago and then I lost it. I think it's high time I recovered it.

They're ALWAYS bitching at me. Baby, what you want me to do?!
